The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines in March 2020, and the Indian Psychiatric Society, the Telemedicine Society of India, and NIMHANS issued the Telepsychiatry Operational Guidelines in 2020 for video-based psychiatric consultation.
